Requirements:

• Self-motivated, able to operate independently.
• Experience with JAVA programming; other languages a plus (C, C++, JavaScript).
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with relational database management systems, preferably Oracle or PostgresQL.
• Some experience with UI/frontend programming (JSF, HTML5, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL programming.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
• Proposes software solutions and determines cost for new and modified systems.
• Develops, designs, and edits original applications or modifies third-party applications.
• Tests and approves applications, trains users, and writes training manuals.
• Manages user support and feedback, may specialize in areas of development.
