Requirements:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Experience in educational technology is strongly preferred.
- Passion for integrating high-quality curriculum and resources into classrooms.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting, influencing, and negotiating effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering client-focused solutions based on needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with educational software and web-based technology.
- CRM experience (especially Salesforce) preferred.
- Some travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies while contributing to the national strategy.
- Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and deliver product demonstrations to communicate AoPS's value proposition.
- Negotiate and close deals, and manage contract renewals while exploring cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in schools for smooth transitions to Account Managers post-sale.
- Participate in marketing events and gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while enhancing product knowledge.
- Adapt to both remote and in-person sales environments as necessary.
