Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of classroom experience teaching secondary students English Language Arts.
• Experience supporting secondary multilingual learners.
• Experience facilitating professional learning for secondary ELA.
• Deep knowledge of the educational landscape in secondary ELA.
• Expertise in teaching Common Core State Standards for ELA.
• Experience evaluating instructional materials using various review tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Proven track record of accountability and attention to detail.
• Strong technology skills including Google platform and MS Office 365.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating ELA instructional materials for rubrics and district requirements.
• Support the identification and creation of ELA instructional resources.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of ELA materials through revisions and edits.
• Assist the Director of ELA in developing instructional materials.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines and prioritiation.
• Engage in collaborations to support ELA initiatives.
• Lead development and delivery of professional learning for literacy instruction.
• Collaborate with experts for ongoing training opportunities.
• Support school leaders with on-site professional learning.
• Develop asynchronous professional learning curricula and present at conferences.
