DevOps Engineer - Fully REMOTE

Requirements:

• Excellent scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl).
• Experience building and maintaining large scale, cloud-based container platforms (IaaS and PaaS).
• Knowledge of deployment automation solutions (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Experience with the AWS platform (certification is a plus).
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI tools such as GitlabCI, Jenkins, and Git.
• Familiarity with security automation tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Preferred experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional Agile team.

Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer helps increase speed of delivery, improve quality/security of code, and optimize processes for the development team.
• Responsible for identifying process bottlenecks and improving them.
• Handles infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling and supports services on multiple cloud providers.
• Develops automation pipelines and CI/CD with Tech Leads and developers.
• Creates self-serve tools for development teams to support the SDLC.
• Participates in delivery planning and improvement projects, maintenance tasks, and identifies automation solutions.
