• Comfortable engaging with patients and healthcare team members both in person and over the phone.
• Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigations and prior authorizations.
• Excitement about working in a start-up environment and building workflows.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and familiarity with EMR and specialty pharmacy systems.
• Familiarity with specialty medications across various therapeutic areas.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on improving patient experiences.
• Initiative to work independently while promoting teamwork.
• Licensure as a pharmacy technician or licensed practical nurse in the applicable state.

Responsibilities:

• Complete prior authorizations for patients.
• Source financial assistance on behalf of patients.
• Process pharmacy claims efficiently.
• Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping.
• Perform dispensing functions, including medication ordering and labeling.
• Ensure proper verification is complete.
• Enhance the patient experience by addressing questions and requests.
• Act as a liaison between the patient, their provider, and the pharmacist.
