Requirements:

• BS degree required, Accounting or Finance major preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, a combination of public and private experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional client service and ability to develop excellent client relationships.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management and oversight of client accounting assignments and projects.
• Assist in creation and implementation of best practices to standardize accounting processes and procedures.
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent training, consulting, and expertise.
• Supervise the preparation of sales tax filings.
• Review and present quarterly deliverables to clients; including customized analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting reports.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
• Assist in managing, training, and mentoring staff to promote efficiency and advance continual growth in their skills and knowledge base.
• Delegate and manage firm workflow to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation of client accounting work.
