Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine as an advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Two (2) years experience in rural medicine as an APP.
  • Must hold an active unrestrictive license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and establish patient rapport.
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies, lab work, imaging, and diagnostics interpretation.
  • Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
  • Respect for patient confidentiality and desires regarding their own healthcare.
  • Multiple APP licenses are a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
  • Ask intuitive questions to discover cause(s) of illness, injury or medical issue.
  • Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history, exam, and testing.
  • Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information.
  • Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and extended team to form a high performing medical team.
  • Be able to continually learn and innovate for better patient care and outcomes.
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients.
  • Be willing to adapt and overcome issues as they arise for the betterment of patients.
