Requirements:
  • Experience with network technology including datacenter, private and public cloud, campus, and WAN.
  • Knowledge of secure network designs and security compliance.
  • Experience with network performance and management processes.
  • Proficient in software and system design.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
  • Knowledge of operating systems, Linux, virtual machines, and container technologies.
  • Experience with software development and DevOps.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Knowledge of API, microservices, and security architectures.
  • Familiarity with Python, JSON, XML, or RESTful services.
  • Demonstrated conflict management, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong technical acumen in cloud architecture and capacity planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers in a 24x7 large scale, mission critical environment.
  • Work with senior leadership to address project dependencies and negotiate delivery dates.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of team strategy, platforms, and services.
  • Identify project risks and present solutions.
  • Track service performance metrics for effectiveness and improvement.
  • Report on team progress and propose areas for improvement.
  • Understand the impact of requirements and design on systems.
  • Support performance evaluations of team members.
  • Cultivate a motivational culture.
  • Identify skill gaps and create remediation plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the team.
  • Develop and manage the team budget.
