Requirements:

Experience with network technology including datacenter, private and public cloud, campus, and WAN.
Knowledge of secure network designs and security compliance.
Experience with network performance and management processes.
Proficient in software and system design.
Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Knowledge of operating systems, Linux, virtual machines, and container technologies.
Experience with software development and DevOps.
Understanding of CI/CD tools and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Knowledge of API, microservices, and security architectures.
Familiarity with Python, JSON, XML, or RESTful services.
Demonstrated conflict management, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
Strong technical acumen in cloud architecture and capacity planning.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers in a 24x7 large scale, mission critical environment.
Work with senior leadership to address project dependencies and negotiate delivery dates.
Own the end-to-end delivery of team strategy, platforms, and services.
Identify project risks and present solutions.
Track service performance metrics for effectiveness and improvement.
Report on team progress and propose areas for improvement.
Understand the impact of requirements and design on systems.
Support performance evaluations of team members.
Cultivate a motivational culture.
Identify skill gaps and create remediation plans.
Build and maintain relationships within the team.
Develop and manage the team budget.
