• 7+ years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby/Rails.
• Experience with various web development technologies (bonus for React).
• Experience writing automation and building JSON APIs.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade web applications at scale.
• Experience solving large-application/user-level problems regarding performance and scalability.
• Well-rounded knowledge of distributed systems and software architecture.
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with databases like Postgres or MySQL.
• Proficient in debugging sophisticated problems using interactive tools.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in technical discussions and design new solutions and architectures.
• Collaborate with the product team on features to improve usability.
• Determine feasibility of front-end solutions and guide technical design.
• Own the implementation of new features.
• Work to improve processes and technologies.
• Mentor and pair with other developers.
• Contribute to code reviews for quality improvement.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS.
