Requirements:

• PostgreSQL administration experience of at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of creating failover database clusters for PostgreSQL.
• Experience with MySQL administration.
• Experience in building and maintaining complex replication schemes.
• TCP/IP networking skills.
• Column and Document DB experience (MongoDB, ClickHouse) for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of monitoring systems like Zabbix and Prometheus.
• Desire to study in the field of database administration.
• Experience in designing systems for continuous operation under high load.
• Understanding and maintenance experience of cloud DVH storages (BigQuery).
• Experience in scripting languages (bash, python or perl).
• At least 3 years of Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to optimize PostgreSQL performance.
• English B2 level.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and maintenance of infrastructure for PostgreSQL.
• Conduct project migrations to PostgreSQL clusters.
• Administration of MySQL.
• Search for non-consistent data and implement checks.
• Review new code related to database changes.
• Proactive monitoring and performance troubleshooting.
• Accountable for high critical environments available 24x7x365.
• Development of extensive replication schemes.
• Automation of DB tasks.
• Improvement of Database infrastructure including Cloud DWH engines.
• Adherence to ITIL principles for change management.
• Maintenance of up-to-date documentation and inventory.
• Set up backups and monitor database workload.
