Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney.
  • Membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
  • 2 or more years working in the financial services and/or tech space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clarify complex regulatory concepts for various stakeholders.
  • Independent, yet collaborative, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Interact with and correspond with external parties, including regulators.
  • Manage litigation and subpoena matters, working with internal stakeholders to gather documents and carry out settlement terms.
  • Assist in managing outside counsel relationships, including budgeting and case management.
  • Provide risk assessments and form litigation strategy alongside the legal team.
  • Assist with preliminary analysis of legal documents and maintain legal files.
  • Prepare legal correspondence and manage escalated consumer complaint responses.
  • Assist with NDAs and various commercial agreements.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
