Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college/university.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in multiple states (California RPh license required).
  • Completion of a PGY-1 residency, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to review and assess appropriateness of prescriptions.
  • Knowledge of chronic disease states such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Willingness to obtain registered pharmacist license in other states.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, assess, and document patient data in Arine’s software platform.
  • Complete thorough medication review and counseling appointments.
  • Review medication reviews and counseling by other Virtual Pharmacist users.
  • Staff clinical shifts and work with automation and new technology.
  • Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and team members.
  • Participate in process improvement meetings.
  • Follow up with clinics, providers, pharmacies, and patients to address issues.
  • Develop strategies to optimize medication utilization.
  • Assist with obtaining referrals and authorizations.
  • Assist with orienting new team members.
