Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years experience.
  • Experience with OCR’s EASE global trade management software (EMS).
  • Strong existing experience and knowledge of export controls.
  • Strong knowledge of the current Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Detail oriented, good writing skills, and good organization/communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sectors in preparation and submittal of licenses and agreements to the USG.
  • Act as the liaison between BAE Systems and the USG reviewers and regulatory personnel to resolve licensing issues.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to BAE Systems personnel and conduct pre-briefings to USG, as necessary.
  • Under direction from leadership, provides strategy, planning and execution plans for export/import.
  • Assist in approving foreign travel and foreign visitors.
  • Assists in preparation and delivery of licensing and compliance training.
  • Participates in drafting updated to Inc. level manuals, guidelines and instructions.
  • Provide oversight for IT related tools (DECCS, OneSpace, SNAP-R).
  • Mentor junior team members, as needed.
