Requirements:

• 7+ years of demonstrated ability with one or more major programming languages (Java, Kotlin).
• At least 2 years of experience working with Kotlin for backend applications.
• Experience working on a Scrum team.
• Knowledge and experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, or Javascript.
• Strong architecture skills and ability to implement customer needs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API conventions.
• High standards for quality and attention to detail.
• Passion for growth and tackling interesting challenges.
• Ability to balance immediate needs with long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend applications and infrastructure.
• Support production applications, including on-call responsibilities.
• Own features from start to finish while working with the scrum team.
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems related to scalability, performance, and user experience.
• Improve, expand, and maintain acquisition, applicant, and customer APIs.
• Work with engineering and product teams on the ambitious roadmap.
