Requirements:

• Advanced doctorate degree highly preferred (MD, DO, Psy.D); candidates with a Master’s and extensive relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience in substance use/addiction treatment.
• Experience publishing in authoritative sources and journals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Established media relations are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain contacts via a multi-channel communications strategy.
• Collaborate with RMN’s marketing team to share industry news and best practices.
• Medically review online articles and other messaging.
• Approve and provide bylines for medical accuracy on digital and print content.
• Handle media inquiries with assistance from RMN’s marketing team.
• Maintain brand voice across all media interactions.
• Appear at industry events as required.
• Manage own professional communications.
• Be available for daily interaction with communications team.
