Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the Non-Conforming and Non-QM underwriting team.
• Ensure effective workload management and timely processing.
• Set quality and productivity standards for underwriters.
• Coach underwriters on guidelines and regulations.
• Recruit and onboard top-performing underwriters.
• Underwrite loans when necessary.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Address post-closing issues and monitor portfolio performance.
• Increase productivity by managing workflow and broker interactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance processes.
