Requirements:

• Degree in relevant field (MD, PhD, or PharmD).
• Extensive experience in external medical engagement.
• Experience in congress strategy and engagement with the external medical community.
• Therapeutic area experience in diabetes, obesity, or endocrinology.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Effective presentation and documentation of complex medical concepts.
• Proven problem-solving skills and good judgment.
• Network of medical and clinical contacts in the therapeutic area.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and execution of the global medical affairs strategy for Obesity.
• Serve as the Medical Affairs Representative on global strategic teams.
• Shape the strategic direction for engagement with global thought leaders.
• Drive engagement with Professional Societies globally, focusing outside North America.
• Support strategic identification of future leaders in Obesity.
• Plan and implement strategic engagement at global congresses.
• Oversee relationships with EU key policy groups with internal partners.
• Liaise with external stakeholders on health technology and access issues.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues on external engagement strategy.
• Capture clinical insights and translate them into strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with legal requirements.
• Utilize global infrastructure for performance improvement.
• Contribute to Amgen's mission in the Obesity therapeutical area.
