About TRAILS

TRAILS is a rapidly growing non-profit organization revolutionizing school-based mental health care. We provide evidence-based training and resources to equip school staff with the skills to support students' mental well-being. Our innovative programs, informed by implementation science research, reach educators and clinicians across the US and in over 100 countries. We're particularly focused on serving Title I schools and students facing high-risk mental health challenges. Our tech stack supports our national and global reach, leveraging a modern infrastructure that includes Amazon S3 and CloudFront for content delivery, Strapi for content management, and a secure, IPv6-enabled US-based server environment. We maintain a commitment to operational excellence and data security through practices like HSTS IncludeSubdomains PreLoad. As a remote-first organization with over 100 employees, we prioritize a supportive and inclusive work environment, fostering collaboration and professional development. TRAILS' mission is to transform youth mental healthcare delivery, ensuring equitable access to evidence-based services. We prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work. With significant funding and strong support from educational and healthcare leaders, we are scaling our impact nationally and continuously seeking talented individuals to join our mission-driven team. Our recent transition to an independent 501(c)(3) organization marks a significant step towards long-term sustainability and increased program effectiveness. We are proud of our achievements, including reaching over 14,000 educators and mental health professionals to date, and look forward to continuing our positive impact on youth mental health.
