Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in product or user experience design focused roles from mobile to desktop
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Thoughtful approach to the craft of design informed by user needs
• Ability to turn ambiguous direction into clear conceptual solutions solving for a user need and the business with limited direction
• Knows how to holds a bar for executional craft with balancing shipping to learn
• Self-sufficient and uses leadership and peers to seek out feedback and ideas
• Ability to scope and plan projects and accountable for artifacts and deliverables
• Experience with working with and contributing to a design system
• Demonstrated portfolio thinking strategically across multiple product and platform experiences and shipping successful in-app/web experiences in a fast-paced environment with impact and outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Execute designs across Affirm product ecosystem
• Work through complex and ambiguous situations to clarity and focus
• Support with prioritization of short term to long term results-oriented work that drives impact
• Partner closely with product management, engineering, research, content to execute delightful experiences
• Foster an inclusive environment
• Leverage operational rigor for design through planning, principles, and frameworks to drive alignment
