Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience/training required.
• CPA or CMA license required.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant for a large organization, preferably within an accounting specialty.
• 3 years of experience working with a large ERP system, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of inventory ledger and costing processes.
• Lead the Cost Accounting function including cost updates and analysis.
• Support period-end, quarterly, and annual close and reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries for timely and accurate posting.
• Prepare and review key policies to ensure internal control effectiveness.
• Analyze period results, documenting and resolving variances.
• Support year-end audit and tax preparation, interfacing with auditors.
• Drive improvements in accounting and system processes.
• Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger control balances.
• Responsible for payroll related accounting entries and analysis.
