Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development, pre-sales, or sales roles involving technical or infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong ability to build trust and close deals.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including customers, OEMs, installation teams, utilities, and internal departments to ensure successful sales and commissioning.
  • Experience developing and managing quotations, proposals, and pricing structures for complex technical projects.
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience with EV charging and/or complex fleets.
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines (electrical, telecommunications, software) to troubleshoot project roadblocks and find solutions for customers.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment, taking initiative to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, engage, and close deals with municipalities and utility fleet operators interested in EV charging infrastructure solutions.
  • Work with prospective clients to assess their charging needs, infrastructure limitations, and fleet electrification roadmaps, translating them into tailored proposals.
  • Gather and present pricing, installation, and commissioning quotes from charger manufacturers, electrical contractors, and infrastructure providers.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, OEMs (chargers, vehicles, infrastructure), installation teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution and future upsell opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on EV charging technology, fleet transition best practices, and operational challenges while positioning solutions that fit their needs.
  • Stay informed about EV industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
