Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics from a top-ranking university (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with direct experience in public companies and/or managing daily accounting operations (required).
  • Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti or other billing systems strongly preferred.
  • CPA track preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret financial data and support decision-making.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage weekly and monthly accounting processes related to the provider network, including calculating and processing monthly payments and maintaining provider vendor records.
  • Collaborate with the telemedicine team to track expenses, manage contracts, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational performance.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations, ensuring adherence to high standards of accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze telemedicine revenue, costs, and financial fluctuations to provide actionable insights for optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses to audit requests.
  • Enhance accounting procedures to comply with public company Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) control requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Automate, streamline, and redesign processes to improve transaction booking and reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) documentation.
  • Lead or participate in special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements.
  • Review the work performed by the offshore accounting team and provide training instructions as needed.
  • Address ad-hoc requests and resolve issues arising from daily accounting operations.
  • Assist with day-to-day treasury operations, including posting daily cash activities across multiple bank accounts and reconciling bank accounts for month-end close.
  • Support month-end coding reviews related to cash and intercompany (IC) entries.
