Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in developing server applications with Ruby on Rails
• Experience in designing and implementing data-driven applications powered by both MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) solutions
• Experience in optimizing performance in relational databases.
• Experience writing RESTful APIs and understanding the HTTP protocol
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests

Responsibilities:

• Full software development life-cycle of new applications, starting with technical design together with architects and ending with deployment to production together with the DevOps team
• Keeping production stable and working, having a dedicated team as a first line of support
• Improvement of technical health of existing services according to best practices from architects, infra team, or your own ideas
