Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of corporate strategy, private equity, financial advisory, or other consulting and financial services experience
  • Experience in a similar corporate development and operations roles
  • Rigorous analytical skills – including building financial models, valuation analysis, performing competitive research and benchmarking, market segmentation and sizing
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent research skills and ability to synthesize information
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey strategic findings
  • Robus project management skills – track record of coordinating and successfully delivering several concurrent high-quality, cross-functional projects with explicit timelines
  • Understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of industry dynamics and competitive landscape
Responsibilities:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing business operations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on market analysis, competitive landscape and industry developments, growth potential, profitability, and strategic opportunities
  • Act as a researcher and custodian of external secondary information sources (reports/databases), utilizing external resources for research
  • Manage the top-down growth model
  • Contribute to the development of strategy narratives and templates for transaction preparation
  • Partner with the banker team on Confidential Information Memorandums
  • Help translate strategic priorities into M&A targets in collaboration with external parties
  • Learn and support internal processes and analytics related to transactions
  • Create business cases and presentations
  • Evaluate opportunities and strategies for growth and value creation
  • Work across practices to implement and track cross-fucntional projects
  • Coordinate activities among internal and external senior management teams
