Requirements:

• Previous experience in technical people leadership or mentorship of engineers.
• Commercial experience in a software development environment with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX, WebGL, WebGPU, and Web Assembly.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals including concurrency and data structures.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach a team of 5 to 6 engineers focused on playback and video editing features.
• Help the team deliver scalable and robust product features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to the product roadmap.
• Drive the planning and refinement of cycle goals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and advocate for engineering needs.
• Own and drive delivery of large cross-team initiatives from ideation to completion.
