Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or foreign degree equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; past experience in a publicly traded company preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP.
• Experience with payroll systems, tax software, reconciliation, and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Business fluency in German and English.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are a must.
• Highly developed attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger.
• Research and resolve accounts receivable issues.
• Process and record payroll timely.
• Ensure timely vendor payables and liabilities.
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end financial close activities.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with group consolidation and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and analyses.
• Assist with technical accounting research.
• Establish processes and internal controls with senior management.
• Assist with audit fieldwork and prepare operating procedures.
• Identify risks and process gaps, developing solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist with quarterly VAT filings.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
