Requirements:

• At least 3+/5+/8+ years of relevant professional experience as a security analyst or in a similar role in a security operation center.
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, information security, IT security, cybersecurity, or comparable hands-on training.
• CISSP and/or GIAC certification is a benefit.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Independent analysis of complex problems.
• Effective communication of technical issues in an understandable manner.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Knowledge of SOC frameworks and standards such as Cyber Kill Chain or MITRE.
• Experience with SIEM solutions, XDR, EDR, NDR, and PAM.
• Technical knowledge of products like Splunk, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, Cyberark.
• Knowledge of network security and familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, PowerShell).
• Very good presentation and moderation skills.
• Analytical and conceptual skills.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to security incidents based on policies.
• Provide technical guidance to first responders.
• Update stakeholders and communicate findings.
• Validate and maintain incident response plans.
• Compile and analyze data for reports.
• Monitor information sources for current threats.
• Analyze impact of new threats and create use cases.
• Participate in root-cause analysis.
• Create runbooks for recurring incidents.
• Develop new use cases with security engineers.
• Onboard new data sources and systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and SOC.
• Identify security risks and forward to authorities.
