Demonstrated experience advising on token offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, and decentralized finance (DeFi) projects.
Familiarity with international cryptocurrency regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proven track record of successful litigation and courtroom representation.
Must own and actively engage with cryptocurrencies to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technology and ecosystem.
Proven track record of staying up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency law and regulation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal advice on cryptocurrency-related matters, including regulatory compliance, token offerings, and digital asset classifications.
Develop and implement legal strategies to navigate the complex regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
Draft and review legal documents, including terms of service, privacy policies, and partnership agreements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in product development and business operations.
Monitor and analyze regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency and securities space, providing timely updates and recommendations to leadership.
Manage relationships with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
Advise on intellectual property matters related to Token Metrics' products and services.
Assist in fundraising efforts and corporate governance matters.
Represent Token Metrics in court proceedings and legal disputes as needed.
