Requirements:
  • 7+ years of CPG Sales experience selling at the headquarter level required, high-growth CPG startup experience preferred.
  • Direct account management experience with Kroger, Albertsons Safeway, Walmart, and Target strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CPG data metrics and platforms such as SPINS, Nielsen, or IRI required.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and building strong relationships.
  • Expertise in trade promotions and account-specific strategies, capable of providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with a willingness to think outside the box.
  • Strong attention to detail and bias for action.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for customer meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities:
  • Hold ownership for key National Account headquarter relationships and end-to-end account management, positioning Graza as a category leader.
  • Lead, train, and manage performance of assigned brokers and retail merchandising partners while building relationships with them.
  • Hold ownership for forecasting and inputting demand and promotional activity for key customers on a monthly basis.
  • Execute new product launch strategy with assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with distributor partners and develop strategic growth plans.
  • Work with Category Management to create custom, data-informed selling materials.
  • Review, analyze, and share sell-through and distributor level data to inform business decisions.
  • Identify new opportunities with assigned customers and optimize distribution, pricing, and promotions.
