Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; some college experience or relevant career experience acceptable.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting ability with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to see patterns in data and log review.
• Basic to Intermediate Python coding skills.
• Proficient with Linux scripts and terminal usage.
• Basic to Intermediate C/C++ skills for debugging and analysis.
• Understanding of BI Tools (e.g., AWS Quicksight, Tableau, Looker, Plotly Dash).
• Understanding of SQL.
• Ability to compose technical documentation.
• Comfortable continuously learning new software and workflows.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate reported fleet issues for observable cause and categorize common issues.
• Track issues and escalate them to the Autonomy Software Engineering teams.
• Review logged events from autonomous vehicles extensively.
• Assist in building the company’s knowledge base for staff and engineers.
• Curate and manage datasets for autonomy software development.
• Analyze testing data to aid in software development.
• Aid in early autonomy software testing through on-vehicle experience or simulations.
• Provide insights and patterns for cases preventing autonomy and escalate as necessary.
