Security Engineer (EU)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in similar security roles, preferably with large scale production systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and familiarity with other cloud providers from a security perspective.
• Experience with large AWS multi-account setups and customer data management.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection.
• Knowledge of common security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Passion for security with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Secure the entire Laravel product portfolio in collaboration with the Director of Engineering.
• Tackle security issues within AWS environments, focusing on IAM and Kubernetes.
• Enhance security by working with global engineering teams and protecting user data.
• Maintain and improve compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Drive security initiatives and integrate best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
