Requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
  • Possess a valid passport and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 15 years of experience in the Tailings geotechnical engineering industry, with field operations and design/consulting experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales and/or business development role in the tailings, minerals, or mining industry.
  • Experience in consulting or engineering with tailings facility assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Frequent travel up to 50% of the job function.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, prioritizing Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for Fugro in the US metals and minerals sector.
  • Identify business opportunities, solicit proposals, and work with the commercial team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, operations, finance, and legal for project success.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on repeat business.
  • Manage proposals with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Deliver thought leadership in geotechnical engineering and engage in self-learning.
