Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in product marketing for an online community or similar.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining user personas, product positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to create collateral and conduct product training/demos.
  • Experience in building and marketing features that enhance user onboarding and growth.
  • Collaboration experience with Product, Research, Community, Product Design, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data for success metrics and storytelling.
Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert on the Stack Overflow product and users' needs.
  • Develop clear product messaging and compelling value propositions based on research.
  • Manage the launch of new features, collaborating with Product Management, Research, Design, Community, Brand, and Marketing teams.
  • Liaise with other Product Marketing Managers to connect new public platform features with paid products and strategies.
  • Develop marketing collateral to promote community features and benefits.
  • Create user-facing training and messaging to support onboarding and drive user engagement.
  • Work with Marketing on campaigns to raise awareness for Stack Overflow.
