Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience; SaaS experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to multi-national corporations a plus.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the monthly close process in NetSuite.
  • Post monthly journal entries for revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain offline close schedules in Excel.
  • Reconcile accounts and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform fixed asset accounting and related roll-forward analyses.
  • Ensure financial statement accuracy.
  • Collaborate with AR/AP specialist to ensure payables and invoices are handled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure relevant AR/AP activity is properly captured in NetSuite.
  • Support annual corporate tax filings.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax and annual 1099 filings.
  • Support annual audit.
  • Interact with external technical accounting advisors, tax team, and auditors.
  • Support and implement process improvement and automation projects.
  • Work with leadership to establish and implement internal controls.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
