Responsibilities:
Managing a team of 5 designers: creating a great working environment for your team, encouraging synergies, removing blockers as they arise, coaching and growing the talents in your team, including performance management and setting clear and engaging objectives.
Building and refining your knowledge of our users: engaging in user research to gain insights into user behaviours, needs, and pain points, and translate those findings into design direction and input for the team.
Leading your group with your PM and Tech counterparts: co-creating the product vision, ensuring a consistent and smooth user experience across squads, solving staffing challenges, aligning with adjacent scopes and beyond, solving dependencies.
Overseeing and challenging design work in your scope: participating in design critiques and providing constructive feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of design solutions.
Playing a key role in our Product Design team: fostering an inclusive, safe and collaborative environment, initiating and leading projects that improve our team’s capabilities and workflows.
