Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience required.
  • Understanding of how to implement and manage procurement processes.
  • Experience with managing PO processes.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable Departments.
  • Teamwork oriented with excellent people skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive and efficient.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Procurify preferred.
  • Experience with International Payments.
Responsibilities:
  • Meet with various department heads and business unit leaders to understand their purchasing needs.
  • Research and source supplies/vendors that meet business unit needs.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Establish, maintain, and update payables & PO processes (SOPs).
  • Ensure all procurement processes are followed and recorded accurately.
  • Analyze data to produce reports and statistics on spending and savings.
  • Coordinate and manage implementation plans for new programs.
  • Train new employees on the PO System.
  • Oversee the AP department and ensure timely and accurate responsibilities.
  • Evaluate agreements during M&A and attempt to merge contracts/vendors where possible.
  • Review contracts with legal and negotiate terms.
  • Maintain renewal schedule to ensure ample time for vendor selection.
