Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience developing hardware for demanding applications.
• Expertise in systems and machine design, preferably in safety-significant systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in materials selection and compatibility.
• Experience with power generation systems.
• Background in low voltage electrical systems and optical systems.
• Familiarity with pressure and fluid conveyance systems.
• Experience with power electronics and non-destructive inspection techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative modular component solutions for reactor systems.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams and industry partners.
• Communicate project proposals to leadership.
• Conceptualize designs with rapid iteration execution plans.
• Lead design review processes.
• Deliver test-proven hardware through SolidWorks CAD design.
• Participate in inspections and testing to verify performance.
