Requirements:

• Strong background in government policy—at least 8 years of experience.
• Experience in the financial sector or tech industry.
• Passionate about Crypto.
• Highly responsible, organized, and disciplined.
• Experience with government officials, industry partners, and civil society organizations.
• Deep understanding of the global financial system.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to handle private, sensitive, confidential information appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Policy managers to develop public policy agendas and strategies for advancing Bitso’s interests.
• Strengthen relationships with local, state, and national lawmakers to influence policy making.
• Present policy positions and opinions to the public and government officials.
• Analyze and make strategic decisions regarding the regulatory landscape in Mexico.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs team to advocate for policy positions.
• Monitor and analyze relevant policy developments and provide strategic advice to senior executives.
