Requirements:

• Strong experience in building and scaling backend systems using PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
• Familiarity with building internal platforms, frameworks, or runtimes.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining diverse APIs.
• Proficiency in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production systems.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques for databases and backend services.
• A pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• Clear and proactive communication skills.
• Familiarity with LLMs and RAG is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
• Develop and maintain internal runtime systems and frameworks for AI workflows.
• Ensure backend systems are performant and scalable for high loads and complex data pipelines.
• Create APIs that integrate with varied resources and external services.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure for backend systems to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product engineers and services teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Focus on delivering solutions without over-engineering while writing AI workflows.
