Requirements:

• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Coaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience with Cloud Services, specifically Microsoft Azure, Microsoft AAD, and Bicep.
• Networking and development knowledge.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, ideally in Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of service performance, metrics, and alerting.
• Experience in architecture/system design.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to setting the technical strategy for the squad in partnership with the Engineering Team Lead and Principal Engineer.
• Directly contributes to the delivery of solutions and helps with improving software engineering processes.
• Takes tactical and operational decisions related to the technology stack with a focus on short-term delivery.
• Evangelises the 'you build it, you run it' mantra, considering operational concerns as part of feature delivery.
• Ensures quality by adhering to standards through coaching and peer review.
• Identifies and raises risks, contributing to incident management.
• Acts as a role model for culture and behaviours, helping in onboarding and mentoring.
