Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer.
• 5+ years of relevant experience applying financial regulations at a law firm or in-house.
• Detailed knowledge of crypto regulation, including MiCA.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of legal professionals.
• Interest in the crypto industry and the company's offerings.
• Nice to have: Experience both in-house and at a law firm, experience at a regulator.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on a global strategy for the ongoing expansion of FreedX's licensing footprint.
• Manage licence and registration applications (crypto, payments), including drafting Regulatory Business Plans.
• Proactively engage and work with local regulators and represent the Business during regulatory applications.
• Advise and consult with the business & control functions on legal obligations under VASP regime, MiCA, and EMRs.
• Guide the Business on new product launches by collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee financial promotions ensuring customer communications are regulatory compliant and approved.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
