Requirements:

• Modeling and simulation of forging and foundry processes.
• Data analysis and creation of predictive models.
• Knowledge of industrial simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic, Simul8).
• Analysis of bottlenecks and optimization of processes.
• Use of plant design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Analysis of manufacturing systems and production processes.
• Experience in experimentation and validation of models.
• Knowledge in process engineering and manufacturing (forging, foundry, etc.).
• Cost analysis and continuous improvement.
• Use of statistical tools for process analysis and improvement (Minitab, advanced Excel).

Responsibilities:

• Construction of simulation models to predict the performance of new programs and improvements in existing programs focused on forging and foundry applications.
• Study plant designs and gather relevant data to create accurate models.
• Identify bottlenecks in production processes and analyze critical areas.
• Recommend system improvements to optimize performance and meet program objectives.
• Conduct experiments to validate and adjust simulation models.
• Collaborate with launch teams and plants to implement improvements and maximize performance.
• Analyze costs of proposed improvements and present cost-effective solutions.
