Requirements:
- BA/BS degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or equivalency.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
- Professional license (PG, PE) or registration (PMP, CHMM) preferred.
- Strong knowledge in environmental/remediation including risk-based asset management.
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to influence others and collaborate within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Federal/Dept of Energy (DOE) environmental remediation projects.
- Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.
- Achieve contractual performance and financial milestones.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems using scientific principles.
- Analyze and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee preparation of work plans and project studies.
- Supervise junior and mid-level staff, providing feedback for improvement.
- Support DOE business development through technical approaches and cost estimates.
