Senior UX Researcher

5+ years of experience in user experience and interface design. B.S. or higher in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field, or 2-3 additional years of experience. Thorough understanding of UI best practices and graphic design theory. Proficient in empathy and adaptive thinking. Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills. Exceptional visual storytelling capability. Automotive or similar HMI experience preferred. Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS is desirable. Experience in UI layout, spec, and prototyping tools.

Clarify user, customer, and business needs and translate them into engaging UX concepts. Understand and facilitate research methodologies. Integrate user research into product designs and practices. Create prototypes for testing and conveying design options. Translate research findings into actionable UI design recommendations. Document key goals, themes, and behaviors for UI teams. Create shareable UX artifacts (journey maps, storyboards, user flows). Document overall UX strategy for use across partners.
