Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field or outstanding professional experience in machine learning engineering.
• Over 5 years of industry experience in machine learning.
• Experience building recommender systems, preferably in e-commerce.
• Demonstrated expertise with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Understanding of ML system design in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems and data pipelines.
• Adaptability to technologies including GCP, Kubernetes, Airflow, Pandas, PyTorch, Python, and Node.js.
• Deep experience in model deployment strategies using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and oversee the development for novel product issues related to ML.
• Triage customer issues regarding model/system shortcomings.
• Build and maintain pipelines for fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
• Serve and deploy LLM on GPUs.
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into a long-term vision and roadmap.
• Act as a thought leader in the Generative AI field.
