Requirements:
- Proficiency in working with OpenStack components and services.
- Proficiency in working with KVM and Metal as a Service platforms and services.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex solutions on a large scale.
- Strong skills in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, Go.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) methodologies, particularly using Terraform.
- Expertise in utilising Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and integrating cloud storage technologies such as Ceph.
- Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems including system administration and scripting.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
- Experience with Operating Systems design, deployment, and debugging, especially in Linux and Windows environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a proven track record of overcoming technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Software development experience.
- Experience with systems architecture and design.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management of scalable and robust private clouds using OpenStack.
- Develop automation processes for provisioning, configuring, and managing bare metal servers in large-scale environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and improve tools that automate and streamline infrastructure deployment and operations.
- Utilise infrastructure as code (IAC) methodologies and contribute high-quality, well-documented code using languages such as Bash, Python, Go, etc.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of the system architecture.
- Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
