Requirements:

• A BSEE or BSEET degree from an ABET accredited university.
• Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or the ability to obtain one upon hiring.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams.
• Familiarity with modeling and coordination software.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with different personalities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Work with VPS power company clients to design electric power distribution systems.
• Assist in developing substation layout and physical design.
• Provide oversight of construction and develop operating procedures.
• Create relay schematics, wiring diagrams, and SCADA layouts.
• Perform modeling for utility development and manage control settings.
• Review structural designs for compatibility with electrical requirements.
• Stay current with code requirements and maintain effective relationships with clients.
