Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in data center deployment or technical project management.
- Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills along with strong communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills with strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards like TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and risk management practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous data center deployment projects including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders such as clients, vendors, and internal teams, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure all project phases are adequately staffed.
- Identify potential project risks and create mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure all deployments meet technical and industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
- Provide technical guidance on best practices for data center design and deployment.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions.
- Travel to monitor progress and ensure smooth project execution.
