Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Russian.
• All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be aged 21 or over.
• Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or being NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered are advantageous.
• Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages or any other interpreting-related qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting between English and Russian over the phone or video.
• Providing interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Interpreting in legal, health, and local government contexts.
• Checking non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence.
• Ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and impartiality in interpreting tasks.
• Adhering to the Code of Conduct.
