Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
• All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be aged 21 or over.
• Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered are advantageous.
• Degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages.
• Other interpreting related qualifications are acceptable.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting between English and Haitian Creole over the phone or video.
• Providing interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Interpreting for legal, health, and local government services.
• Checking non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence.
• Performing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and impartiality in interpreting.
